I have been up there in late July/early August and it has been OK up there fishing-wise. I think the bite is substantially better earlier on. We have done really well but you have to work for them pretty tough sometimes. The camping is AWESOME up there and popular so make sure you make a reservation at Kit Price or some of the other ones. Great place to go and one of the most beautiful in my opinion. Plus the people in North Idaho are super, super cool. Glad you had fun. Was there snow on the ground?

some snow about 8 miles up from cda river road I didn't know about Kit Price and will check it out. And yes the people were very nice, which is a plus for the family trips. We plan on going back since CDA left a good impression on us.
