Fished Saturday 5.28.05 evening. Not much action on the lake...talked to some local residents who said the fishing was slow. Sunday AM 5.29.05 started out about 8AM dragging a fly around the North end of the lake, and in 2 hours I had C&R over a dozen rainbow trout ranging from 12"-16". I even caught a fairly large crappie ~ my first I've ever caught. All in all, a fun morning on a great little lake.
My basic fishing setup: 9' 5wt rod with a sink tip line, basic streamer fly patterns along with some damsel imitations. All flies with barbs pinched to make release a snap without removing the fish from the water.
