Fished the skok for the first time yesterday with some friends. Don't know the river well, we ended up fishing off of a wood pile down and on the opposite side of the river from a combat floss line. We could see fish in the hole beneath us and we threw everything at them, concentrating on eggs. We had a couple missed bobber downs and one great hook up and fight until it swam into the wood pile beneath us, wrapped up and broke off. Was a beautiful fish of course! Probably 15lbs and still bright. We saw lots of bright fish flashing in the hole. Saw a bunch of dark fish as well. Would rate it higher but we didn't take home any fish. Not bad action for our first time on the skok fishing store bought eggs though. Hope to be back next year with better bait and luck!

@Djbutler The skok is closed for the year for the retention of chinook now. But it does get a decent silver run so keep an eye out for those. Good job jd fishing eggs and not the typical skok fly.
