After a week of house projects it was time to take an afternoon off and do some fishing, decided to give the PO another try. Our hopes were not high catching any fish based on our past outings and even if we didn't catch anything it was just nice to get out on the river. There was hardly any boats out and what a gorgeous day too! We worked the the outside of the weed lines on the main part of the river floating plastics and swim baits in various (non-tribal) locations north and south of Cusick. Ended up boating 8 Largemouths and one Smally. Surprise surprise, there are still quality bass still in the river! The wife ended up with the big fish of the day just shy of 6lbs.
