Yakima River Report in Kittitas County
Mother's Day Caddis Bloomed today on the Yakima - That seems apropo!
We have been experiencing good fishing throughout the system. The river is in great shape. Nymphing lately has been the ticket overall with combinations of Stone Nymps and Caddis Larvae, pupa as well as Streamers. Dry Fly fishing has been a bit spotty but the attached photo was a nice trout caught today on a Salmon Fly Dry.
