So wanted to keep the mojo going and had someone I have been promising to take out to the Skookumchuck so we hit the fields at daylight and worked our way all the way down to the power lines without a bump. Ran into a few other fellow fish people with the same results.
About 11am took him up to show him the hatchery and other holes and of course, it was packed but found a parking spot and started walking up to the dead line just to scope out some holes. Didn't bring our rods but just wanted to show him some areas that produced fish but let him know, he wouldn't be alone. He is retired and about 72 years young and gets around pretty darn good for a man his age so at least wanted to get him into an area he could hit during the week that may not be so crowded. He has shown me some cool fishing spots on the Queets so wanted to return the favor.
Saw 3 fish total, 1 bright and 2 pretty colored up that were on the bank for all the guys fishing so tells me not a very productive day overall I think so just wanted to get out a report to you all as there are still a few fish moving through but visibility was about a foot and a half so pretty much have to get in front of their noses!
