I fished the Wynoochee from the bank around the 7400 area starting at 7:45am. Most of the river was very muddy with bad visibility but higher up it tuned green with very low visibility (maybe 2 feet). I fished the inside seams with an assortment of 1/8 bright jigs and after working an area I would run over the water with a 2/5 ounce rvrfshr 50/50 silver gold spoon.
I picked up a 31 inch 9 pound hen with the spoon about 5 feet from the bank in the second hole I went through. She went in the faster water peeling some line and put up a nice fight with me following along shore a bit down river.
The rain was coming down hard and the river seemed to rise slightly so I called it a day at 10:30am. I saw two other bank fisherman on the other side of the river and they didn't seem to have any luck.
