Gordy and I had to get that last whitefish trip in before the" lousy" good weather put a stop to the catching of them. We headed up into the Yakima Canyon where we fish most of our time but were rewarded with 2 fish lost (one very large monster white that was lost due to the current and its weight pulling my hook straight. This was during a beautiful sunny fishing time. We then headed to Harrison Bridge where Gordy landed 2 with a nice incidental rainbow. I put one on the ice where I got wet from the knee's down grabbing it before it flopped back in off the ice shelf I was fishing over. The sun wasn't as bright due to it becoming cloudy' which brought on the bite but I had to get back to an appointment or we may have gotten a few more. Now we will be looking forward to some early spring trout/perch/crappie fishing.
