Got on the river by 10am fished till 2pm , saw only one caught by tokul creek boat launch , water seemed great visibility was ok not as bad as the last two days floated everything in my tackle box just about eggs to shrimp nothing, starting to be a frustrating year for me I have yet to land a stealy . river will hopefully be prime this weekend. If any one has some advice itd be much appreciated

Your not the only one struggling on the Snoqualmie. Counted 52-cars from the boat launch to the bridge of tokul creek this morning. Had 12-boats go by in a rowing contest where I was watching from the golf course to the boat launch. Ouch.!!!

I've been there three times this season and see the look of the faces of fellow anglers. No joy yet. I was near plum boat launch early today and found a nice bank area( with about 5 other gents). I'm getting as much practice as possible. Some day soon I'll score!!

I fished 6 miles down river in a great stretch, tried eggs for two hours assuming I would catch trout, but nothing.
River flow is still pretty strong, but the color looked perfect.

Cheers

4 trips to the Snoqualmie with one steel head about 8 pounds. Three days in a drift boat managing only 2 take downs, one on a bait diver the other bobber dogging eggs and neither of those two stuck. The one steel I manged to land was on a shrimp and peach rabbit fur jig with a white head. Fishing the backside of the bowl nearest to the creek opposite of the island. We also hammered a 12lb Ho near the Fall city take out.
