We fished both Friday and Sunday at Cascade. Caught fish both days. Some old silvers and some really nice Winter Steel. For some reason it wont allow me to post pics on here but a couple people on here can vouch for the fish caught.

Was there Sunday late. Nutin, went swift creek for some chum like the old days, was piss poor fishing. last 4 folks left when we got there, they have neeted that river about to death for chum. Sad stuff :-( Budy plunks the lower river, said some steel now showing. Been a dry year.

I agree with everything said above - although my report is about to show up with the only steelhead I heard of being caught by my buddy, but I'm sure a couple others were caught. Regardless, they aren't in yet and I wouldn't say it's worth the drive yet if you're coming from the Seattle area. Soon enough though I hope!

I dont fish the hatchery, i would tell you where I fish but I dont want the spot over run with people. As far as I know Danny, me and a couple others fish the hole. Also Danny backed me up in the forum meaning he seen the fish
