Had the opportunity to get out on a river boat for the first time ever today with a couple friends from work. Launched at the steelhead park in rockport and fished down river from there. It was a pretty slow day, but I ended up with 2 silvers! One was pretty dark and the other in pretty good condition, one of my friends got another 2 that were the biggest coho I have seen on the Skagit this year (sorry for no pictures, but I forgot my phone!!). Ended up being a bittersweet day because I brought 2 rods and by about 1 I managed to snap one in half and the other lost a screw on the little cap on the retrieve and that made it unfishable=[ pretty expensive trip if you ask me haha but hey, that's fishing!
