Well after my decent outing yesterday I decided to hit the lake again. I decided to hit the water a little earlier and it paid off. I got in the water at 7:00am and pretty much did everything I did yesterday (refer to 5/23/05 report for details) and had my limit in about 70 minutes... I would barely get my line down and I would have a fish on. The bite was a lot better today, I only missed 2 fish on my usual setup. I caught all rainbows from 12in. to about 14in. After I had my limit I switched to a kwikfish for some catch and release and caught a few more small rainbows and a couple browns as well as missing about 20 bites. Nothing really big, but very fun. The wind started to pick up around 10:30am so I anchored near a weed bed and switched my gear to do some bass fishing. I didn't do as well at that. I landed a couple of small perch, a blue gill, and some very small bass. Then I pretty much just trolled the lake and watched people catch fish. I saw some really nice bass caught and pretty much every boat fishing for trout landed at least a few. Seemed like everyone was catching something. At about noon some Jet skiis hit the water so I decided to call it a day. Water is still very muddy but fishing was excellent. Just got a new camera tonight so when I hit the lake again I will definitely be posting some pictures.
