Had a busy day with work on Friday but had to be in Bothel at 3pm so brought along my gear and my produce specialist (who also fishes!) and found ourselves done about 4:30 so went to scout out a spot to fish on the Sky. Stopped by the Lewis Street launch and some so zombie pinks milling around and a bunch spawning in the reds just upstream from the launch. But didn't feel good about leaving my truck in that parking lot as there were 3 cars parked there with some shady looking characters in them; so headed back downstream and found a nice little hole near the miniature donkey farm and quickly threw our waders over our work clothes.
Not much of a report though as we had quite a few pinks swim by us and I think I hooked into one but could have been a silver but didn't stay on long enough to find out but what a great way to end a crazy day of work with a cool hot air balloon rising across the river from us over the trees!
Had a great meal at one of my accounts in Monroe (Adam's NW Bistro and Brewery) and had a couple of his famous hand ground burgers from prime sirloin topped of with his wonderful brewed on premises ales to round out the day and head home to get ready for my trip to Lake Scanewa on Saturday
