Lots of people at the river today, got there late about 9:45, and fished until 1:30. I was near the hatch using float/uncured humpy roe, au natural, or corky/roe. On my first cast of the, day hooked a, jack silver, it was chrome but pretty small, but very fiesty, after a couple jumps it shook the hook. 10 minutes later I hooked a zombie, it took the roe and didn't spit it out I caught a few of those some rally moldy, I couldn't believe it actualy bit in that condition.. It was, near death., about 1 hour in I caught about a 15# king, released asap. after a few humpies and kings I moved locations, found a nice quiet stretch, first cast down goes, the float, and out of the water comes a nice silver! I was so stoked. After about 10 minutes and an awesome fight I brought him in and bonked him, a blushed 6pound buck coho. Finally broke the ice for those. I wish.I could've stayed longer to finish my limit, but my wife had errands for me to do.. :/. An awesome day on the river had a blast.

Hey I saw you today with your king! I was the kid fishing spinners. Landed an +11 lb native buck coho later on on the upper river!

Excellent fish man! I cant seem to catch a coho this year. I was going to try the upper sky or wallace for the first time ever. do you know of any good spots? I have some eggs in the cure for sunday.. What kind of setup do you use with eggs. Im still a newbie at this. cought over 20 bright pinks tho this season. But only one small silver.

First step, Find where the fish are HOLDING.
Second, tie a slip bobber (1/2 Beau Mac), with a bobber stop (above the bobber).
Third, put a 3 foot leader (10lb or less) on with a size 1/0 hook tied with a Egg loop knot (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUp-fbiLZVs)
Fourth, throw upriver from the suspected holding fish, as not to scare them or spook them.
Fifth, make sure you are closest to the bottom without hitting it.
Sixth, catch fish, Try the deep parts, then the seems, then either wait until the next school moves in or try another hole.
Also, buy eggs if you are not sure about your cure.
Also, early mornings are more productive, but that doesn't mean you cant catch them anytime.
Also, don't expect to catch fish when the guys next to you are throwing directly on top of them.

oops, forgot to mention the 3/8 ounce eight between the leader and the main line. (step 2.5) Good luck.
