The wife gave me the ok tonight so I hit the river at 5pm in Monroe. I floated eggs, jigs, and casted a spoon all to no avail for silvers. I did see some silvers jumping....ahhhh, I want one soooo bad! I ended up catchin 3 big buck pinks on a jig. Was a beautiful night on the water though. I've contacted a couple guides to hopefully get me on my first silver this season but still waiting to hear back. Hopefully soon...

At least you caught some fish! I was starting to wish for at least a Pink to break my skunk this week.

Try Tyler with reelprosnw.com, he knows the rivers VERY well and is a stand up guy as well. Not too pricey either, He fishes from a drift boat so the experience on the river is really better in my opinion.

I too went on the hunt for silvers last night. Fished dick nites and drifted some silver colored corky set ups in my favorite hole. No silvers to speak of, but hit plenty pinks. They certainly are on their way out though - all of them are very colored and plenty are starting that suicidal beaching maneuver.
