I haven't had time to post any reports in the last 10 or 12 of days I think.. but the fishing has been great!!!

I love this time of year!!! the river is loaded with fish and the Coho are making a showing in that mix as well!..
We heard some Coho were trickling on up the river the last couple days and with the big rain wed/thur I was sure more made it in and up..

So I hit the river today with Blurock (on her boat), Steelheadin360 and Cory the 1st time boat guy.. and man we had a blast!! our 1st order of business was the barbie pole and jedi force pole challenge.. Barbie won! what a blast..

So on to the search for bright fish and there were plenty of them after the big rain.. after landing many humpies and putting the williestick to them, a boat up front of us gave a hollar "Its a Silver!!" so we started fishing a little harder and not even 2 minutes later we had a double hookup battle going, soon as we got the fish close to the boat, Cory's fish popped off but mine was still on and seconds later it leaped and we all freaked! i got my game face on and concentrated on getting this big coho to the boat.. after some acrobats and mayhem, the fish was in the net and the high 5's commenced.. bam!!! so fun!

I go out this time of year hoping for a Coho like many but it doesn't always go as planned.. today... IT DID...

we actually fished the snoho up by the confluence 1st then headed up the Skykomish..
the 50/50 dick nites were the hot ticket today, we caught fish on jigs too, but the hookups were more consistent with the 50/50's..

fish on.. \m/
