Fishing solo, I launched my non-gasoline powered water craft onto Trails End Lake for a bass try. The water was about 3 to 4 feet higher than my last trip to this lake last fall. A local resident told me that the beavers had built a dam at the outlet. I fished about 1/4 of the shoreline and hooked about a dozen bass. Most were small but four of the fish were between 13 and 16 inches long. All were released. It was cool and overcast but little wind in the AM.
