Went to the Cedar today to catch some rainbow. Mainly using rooster tails and blue fox's. Caught 4 fish all around 8 inches. Switched to wedding ring and had about the same results. Was getting ready to leave and decided to try one more hole upriver. Threw on a brass blue fox. Second cast Bam! Landed a gorgeous 18" rainbow. All catch and release of course. The cedar seems to have a healthy population of Bows. Hopefully will be able to make another trip or two out there this year!

Might want to check the fishing regs for Cedar, if your fishing date of 9/1 is accurate... Cedar is closed at end of 8/31!

Is it really? Thank you looks like that was my last trip to the cedar this year! Is the snoqualmie open year round? Or any other good places for trout. I went to beaver lake last week after I heard they released 1200 fish but only caught two dink bass!
