Tried a different spot on Levee Rd by the Budweiser Distributor. Was calling out fish almost every cast...everybody else is pretty much having the same experience these days. Was catching and releasing until I got something big enough to warrant keeping.

I swear I have the worst luck with the "prize" fish. I should have had a King last night...and it was good sized! It was ripping drag. Did everything I was supposed to do...played it, led it by the bank, raised it to the surface so the net guy could net it...and he missed with the net....TWICE! The second time he missed he knocked the fish off the hook, and bye bye King. I was devastated.

I try to tell myself it was only a fish...but it's not helping...LOL
