Ive been fishing Moses lake for 25 years. In the early 80s , you could come home with a stringer of large Rainbows, football sized Blue Gill, etc. Its declined to an occasional trout, haven't seen any worth sized panfish in years. I used to think Mt. St. Helens was to blame for possibly destroying the spawning beds, but after seeing how many Walleyes are in there I and other fisherman are convinced that these predators are the cause . WDFW introduced them in the mid 80s, what a bad idea. At least I think there should be no minimum size, maybe 10 fish limit. Its really out of control.
