The building I work in sits right next to the river in Redmond and the slough is looking perfect right now. As for the poachers, I say report them, it's the only way they will stop. Ran into a similar issue on a local river last Saturday. I pulled into a parking lot near a popular hole and there was a State Patrol officer taking a break and two guys fishing. They both were in possession of trout, not in keeping with the regs and using bait, also not in keeping with the regs. One of them didn't believe me so I brought Mr. Trooper in to set them straight. Lucky for them, he wasn't too hip on the RCWs covering WDFW violations and they got off with a warning.
