Well couldn't ask for a better northwest steelheading day other than more fish, fishing a pristine river, cold and rainy and the almost perfect shade of steelhead green water...if only the steelhead were more cooperative but I did hook 1 for a while until it snapped my leader and my dad loss one too due to a log. mine was on a float and jig in pink/white and his on eggs. Other than that it was nice breaking in a new lami X-11 rod and meeting some cool guys down there and there was not all that much bank traffic, just 20+ boats and only heard a half a dozen hooked from them as well.
