Went to the Humptulips for the first time and man was it a beautiful river full of nice holding spots. But too bad no fish; didn't see anybody get any either. Think one guy caught a small rainbow trout. I'm going to have some fun salmon fishing this river when the come around. Steelhead are here though because I saw about 7 fish bone remains most around the 6-8 lb range there was one fish in particular though that really caught my eye on the bottom of Stevens creek after the hatchery; it looked atleast 20lb maybe more , sad somebody let it die and go to the bottom.
