I started off fishing at the Cowlitz. After fishing there for 6 hrs with no hits, I decidec to go the the Wynoochee. I got to the river at 2 pm. The first hour, I had nothing. I switched to a #3 BlueFox Spinner. Right after about the 5th cast, the spinner passed the log, line stopped, and fish on. It was an 8-10 lb buck. Then about a half-hour later, I moved up, and switched to corky and yarn. I felt something tug at the end of the drift. I set the hook, and had another fish on. I fought that thing for about 5 minutes. After getting it around the snags, I walked upriver to find a slower current and beached it. 2nd fish of the day; another 8-10 lb hen. Punched her on the card and headed home.
