A quick report on the North Fork: There are fish in it. We fished below fortson today, and pulled in a lot of coho, and nailed 3 steelhead in the first 15 minutes. Every cast would have a thousand whitefish swarming your bait, but there are plenty of fish in there. Fortson proper had plenty of people fishing it, but was pretty slow for the amount of fish that are in it. HUndreds of dark silvers and a few steelhead mixed in are really just not that bitey. Find those loner steelhead downstream and they'll come out to play.
