My buddy and I fished the lower section first and did'nt get any action so we went up to hatchery. As were pulling up, a couple guys walking out, said only one fish was hooked then lost all day. We still gave it a shot, but struck out like every one else. We moved down river again and I finally had the bobber drop. It ended up being a sucker though. Since it fought good, for a sucker, I took a pic and sent him on his way. A few casts later in same hole my bobber dropped again, but I knew it wasn't a sucker because it burned off a bunch of line. It ened up being a native so he went back in the drink. We fished until dark with no more results.
