Fished Sprague from noon to 5 pm in the rain storm. Hooked 3 fish in the first 15 minutes of trolling, landed the first two, both 16.5 inches. The third fish popped the line off the downrigger and started tearing line out, I had to pull up both downrigger balls and put the kicker in neutral as fast as I could to keep from losing the fish, I could feel the head-shaking of a huge fish, the pole was stressed and then "SNAP" busted the rod and lost the fish. The fish fought like a huge walleye, I've caught plenty of big ones on the Columbia and at Banks, but didn't see the fish. Didn't think Sprague was ever known as a monster walleye lake. Six inch Rapala Huskey Jerks got us all of our action, green back, gold sides, and an orange belly. Also caught an incidental trout about 2 pounds, and several "shaker" walleye.
