We launched at about 6pm on this first visit to the lake for us despite the threatening looking clouds. The rain held off, however, and there was some good fishing over the next two hours. The lures of the day were a silver/green teeny Dick Nite spoon and a size 12 bright green Carey Special a foot behind a small attractor spinner. Both rigs were trolled shallow along the shoreline. We hooked 11 fish total, and boated 8 of them.
