Started out at mouth of Wallace, fished for a short time with no results. Went directly across from the mouth and fished a nice seam on the sky I saw guys out few days prior doing very well. Saw a few rollers fish for about half hr. maybe 45 min. with nothing. Continued up stream talked to some gentleman got a dismal report. So we set up and casted into a slot I and my friend had fished a few times with good results and countless other people doing the same. My buddy hooks up on 2 fish in first few cast, he hooked six and then I hooked 4 strait in succession then we go back and forth with another couple a piece. We hooked close to a dozen fish in a little less than 2 hrs. Great day. I have been tying my own jigs just for chum no secrets here. (1/4 oz. uv jig, more cerise than purple marabou, orange crystal flash, and black chenille). I and my buddys have been using them on the Skagit the last 2 years. These jigs out hook store jigs in similar patterns 4:1.

I know they are just Chum, but for a person who loves to fish for the sport, they are an absolute blast to catch!
