10/31/2012 11:02:00 AMI am from the east coast and when we fish steel head we use a jig and a float. Since i have been fishing up here i only use jigs for steel head, but i would like to fish float and jig for Salmon rather corky and yarn. My question to you would be do you normally run your jig towards the bottom of the river or more shallow? I know that it will change day by day, but if you would share with me what is your average depth for best luck?
