So I had wanted to hit the Chehalis this week but was talked into fishing the Lewis and glad we did! Started out at daybreak boondogging eggs near the hatchery and had pretty much not stop action with a limit of kings for everyone on the boat before noon with the biggest being mine pushing 35lb's!

That looks like the Hog Hole by the hatchery, not daybreak. Still, awsome job. I was down there over the weekend and didn't see much going on, as well on the Kalama. Ended up on the Cow but only caught cuts.... Still a lot of fun.

fishbiker, you can put in on the 503 side by the golf course and run up river or can put in at the cedar creek launch but it is only 1 boat at a time and gets crowded with quite a few guides fishing there. we were fishing right at the hatchery but there are plenty of spots down river as well with fresh fish moving in daily and the silvers are just starting to show and they get big!
