I think i need to fill out an invasive species report.

Looking for mr silver again real quick this morning down below the highway hole, and it was chum after chum after chum. i didnt even know those damn things ran up the wallace. i was twitching a olive colored jig. seen a few hoes rolling but as soon as i would cast to them big mcnasty would slam the jig. made for a fun morning all and all. back at it in the AM!

They are certainly a pain if you are trying to catch coho or something else since they are the bulldog of the river, but if you just have a hankerin to get bent they fit the bill nicely. The problem is that everyone wants to keep coho but no one wants chum, so the runs just keep getting stronger and stronger, or at least it seems that way.

Don't know why folks don't like 'em... chum make some amazing smokers once a little turned. gotta love all the oils in them!

Chums have always been in the Wallace. Its good to see they are making a comeback, 10 years ago they were everywhere in the wallace. Hold on if you get one on they are a blast to fight. make sure you release them as you cant keep them in the wallace.
