I went down to the river on the way to work. Fished for 30 minutes from 7am to 7:30. Just down stream of 212th at a secret spot. Twitched jigs for 20 minutes with no action, water was dark enough that I figured I would pull a plug or two. Brad's Tiger Stripe had a maybe 6lbs chum, tiger stripped up with the hook nose and teeth, was running a single 2/0 hook with no barb from my nooch bag, so once he was close I just opened the bail and within a few moments he was on his way.
--- Frustrated but out of time I went to work, been working crazy lately but you gotta get while the gettins good ---
Left work at around 4:45pm and went straight to the river, First thing I did was snap on a jig and start working the beach hole. Did not figure it would be that great because I was too early for the tide, and there was zero surface action, ended up getting a little hen on the tailout of the corner hole just before I was about to move back to the top to start again. That was cool, I figured I would take off because I had to meet a friend for Dinner at 6:00 and it was already around 5:30. I was about to head straight to the car, then I saw some guys fishing one of the spots I hit alot, so I figured I would pop in and see how it was going. Ended up meeting a Hopeless Canuk down there!!!
Pretty cool running into folks on the river. Anyways Hope you guys got found some fish, I blazed out of there at mach 10 since I was running late after yaking with you... Had a wonderful sushi dinner! :)
