9/18/2012 5:37:00 PMUmm, is there a specific reason people shouldn't believe you other than it is the internet so a grain of salt and skepticism is warranted? I suppose the odds are against you with the other reports today of it being real slow but that should make it all the better for you in spite of the frustrations getting owned by some fish ;-)
Just bring a camera (in tightly closed ziploc) next time as long as taking the photo doesn't jeopardize your fish or yourself! Can always take a pic at home if that's the case. Coho and most salmon school up sometimes into tight little packs of course so while it may have been crazy where you were, trust me it can be totally dead just a little ways away or during difft tide or daytime etc (unless it is pink season where a milion fish flood in vs what, 13,000-15,000 coho on a good year not sure?).
Anyway this is great reading that others will probably relate to, especially the coming into work wet (muddy, fishblood on clothes, etc) part. Wish you'd kept the long version...
