I still have the fishing bug so I took my boat out to Lake Desire. I only brought a small amount of bass gear so this turned more into a scouting trip than anything. Not even a bite on the bass. However, the trout fishing appeared to be great for the flyfishers. Those on the lake in float tubes and/or boats seemed to be doing well. There were ample amounts of descently large trout skimming the surface for bugs. Next time I will take trout gear along with my bassin items ! The lake was glass calm this evening... very enjoyable!
