Fished the river early this morning at the top of the incoming tide. Quite a few fish were rolling, but I'm pretty sure they were all Chinook. Threw spinners in the beginning, before switching to a Dicknite. Tried the area behind BECU and under the bridge at the Community center, with no luck. Hit a spot just downriver from the I-5 bridge, where I finally hooked up. It made a couple jumps, which led me believe it was a Coho. Got it in close only to see it was a little Chinook jack. Released it and fished for a few more mintues before heading home. Seemed like a pretty normal opener for a non-pink year on the Green, only Kings present as usual.
