Well, we did okay today. A quick afternoon trip turned out alright, we got one fish into shore. Just when you thought the river couldn't drop anymore it went down another foot. Using six pound test leader, Owner hooks and a small peach-pearly trout bead has been the ticket.

The fight on these guys pound for pound is incredible, they'll be on your side of the river one moment and then in the air on the other side the next. If you can find some bitey fish, a finesse presentation will serve you well. Light tackle, light line, clear drift floats if you're floating. I hate to say it, but it'd be nice to see a day of rain. But if you can sneak something tasty in front of these guys, they will bite.
