Hit the Puyallup about 3pm yesterday till 5. Was there the day before 8/1 from 11am till 5. 8/1 I fished near McMillian and 8/2 I fished down a bit toward Alderton. Touched 2 fish but didn't land anything. Tried several different color combos of okie (corky) and yarn and used Anise oil. River was running good but I'm thinking that I'll fish a little later in the day or earlier in the AM. Was still a great day...sun was out and there was only two others fishing...bout 100 yds away. Seems like everything is running a little "late" this year. I'm sure that it will pick up later in August.
