Went for 2 hours to a slough I knew of from the past. I call it 2 fish slough (no idea what it really is called) because 9 times out of ten that's what I catch there. It didn't disappoint. 2 Largemouth, one 15" and the other of a size that wouldn't be credited without photos, (been there) so I'll just say nice. Lots of milfoil, but dark weededges were where they were, so that's not all bad. Saw 2 otters and about a 25-30 pound carp. Driving by the I-82's there weren't many people. Judging by recent reports, I think I may know why. 7" plastic worms were what worked.

The largemouth this year have been spotty, either jumping in the boat or with lockjaw, but the smallmouth have been on fire at times. I'm STILL seeing bass that have not spawned, including the big one in this report. Glad you're feeling better, Jiggy. Let me know when you're ready.
