After taking the whole winter steelhead season off i had to get my steelhead fix in so i hit the Sky for my 1st steelhedd trip of the year. Didnt find anything in the way of steelhead and that seemed to be the case for alot of people. I started down by the Lewis St bridge and slowly worked my way upstream as close to Reiter as i dared to get. Alot of people were out and not many were catching steelhead. The trip wasnt a total waste i did manage to find a pocket of water holding some kings and managed to catch 2 small wild kings about 8-10 pounds and they were a blast. Got both of them on chartreuse vibrax with a green/white hoochie trailer with some sand shrimp stink on it.
