Myself and 2 others fished the opening of the Spokane Arm. We launched at Porcupine Bay. We fished for 3 days. The fishing was great on the 1st day with limits for all. The second day was OK as it took longer to get our limits. We quit early on the 3rd day and so we did not get a full limit. A perch colored blade on a worm harness was the lure for the first 2 days with speeds around 1.2 to 1.5. The last day a chartreuse squid trolled at .8 to 1.2 was the lure of the day. We never left the area around Porcupine Bay and Blue Creek. There is a fair amount of floating debris, so if you go watch out. The fish were a little larger than last year with the average being 15" to 16". We did catch 3 nice sized Burbots while trolling but no Smallmouth. Last year you could not keep the Smallmouth off your lures. Hopefully the Burbot are eating them. Good luck!!

Good job on the wallies .We found the fish were a little bigger this year too. Ten of us caught 238 in 3 solid days of fishing. Talked to the indian fish counter on sunday about how the indian fishing went during the spawn in the arm and he said he heard as little as 200 fish to as many as 2,000 I asked why they did that an he told me that they need to reduce the walleye population because they are predators of the silvers and trout in the lake. I say B.S, to that but if they think that there are too many walleyes why don't they just raise the limit and let everyone fish.
