Spent the morning fishing Rocky Ford. Fishing was off/on for a few hours, first the fish were hitting Scuds, then Woolly Bugger, San Juan worm and finally White Bunny. Good day overall.
Heck yea! Get that trout by the girls and teach em what the food chain is all about. How does your casting platform work? a large wieght on the other end of the plank to secure it in place?? that is such a great idea. i wonder if i can take a step ladder there and then be able to avoid all of these annoying reeds everywhere. also with that platform it looks like you could release the fish without even needing to strees the fish to much. lol last time i was there i got some tick in an unmentionable spot. ill have to be sure to try out some of these new tactics while all the other river are a flood stage. thanks.
