Took the long trip down to the Skook today. Arrived at 7:45 and was suprised to see only a few cars in the lot. The water looked perfect to me so I started below the salmon hatchery with bobber n eggs and within 20 minutes I hooked one! It took me a while to bring it in, felt like a damn brick. Landed him... kind of dark but for drivin 100 miles, it goes in the bag! After that I went up to the dam and hooked 2 more that were way too old. All of us struggled to find a bright fish and after the noon sun hit it felt like the bite was off. So I wandered around a little but didn't see any more caught.
Nice day, Nice people, Got a fish, No complaints.

Nice fish there. Last Friday April 6 I went down from Seattle and caught a nice chrome hen. Enjoyed it. Fishing near the concrete pad and noticed that the river was lower from my last trip.
