The few hours we were there it was sunny, then it snowed, hailed, and rained. But the fishing was great! I caught two right away and my bf had one on for a bit. Only kept one so I could keep fishing. We moved spots and went closer to the dam. He hooked into a large dime bright steelie which after a few rolls and a jump he spit the hook. Shortly after I hooked into a bright steelhead that after a good fight when I was bringing it to shore it jump at least 5ft into the air twisting and shaking, and then breaking my leader. Hooked into a few more here and there but never got anything in. The river still has a good amount of fish, but I didnt see anyone else catching. still using the pearl pink corkie and shrimp oil.

Nice! you know when they jump outta the water like that they have a hook right in their face! Gotta love the action! That corkie combo is pretty killer for you. Little secret... I used the same combo when I was fishing for my last report to :) You and ur bf have been producing the best reports!
