Had a few free hours, and of course the sunny day was too nice to pass up. So we drove to the river. Only had a couple of hours, but we saw some guys with fish and a few with limits. That blast of rain ushered in the fish, The B run is in full swing. saw quite a few chrome fish. I didnt get a fish, but my bf did!

Nice report. Thanks for the picture. I fished the Skookumchuck last Friday. Didn't get any fish, but had a great day on the river. It's a gorgeous area. Might give it another shot this Friday.

Im still new to the river, but if you can figure out where the fish are holding you can usually do pretty good. But their holding spots tend to change depending on the cfs. Up by the dam though is usually pretty good tho.

Darn! I was going to hit this river but was afraid it would be out of shape~ Went to American lake instead but did get a nice 4lb rainbow. Great job! You are pretty prolific for being new to this river and seem to always get a fish or 2! Are you fishing near the hatchery most of the time or down by the park? I would really like to go this Friday so want to know if I should head straight up and start fishing there and work my way down.

We start out fishing by where everyone parks and slowly make our way up to by the dam. If we have the time we go down to by the salmon hatchery.
