Went to reider again, can't believe how many fish I caught, they were stacked like pancakes, almost got my subaru stuck on the way. Some people think I'm bonkers in the head chasing these steelhead, I say "tight lines guys". They were hitting anything green and the pink wiggler. Saw about 8 cars. Very very surprised. I was 1 for 9. Tight lines boys

How did you lose 8 fish? Were they gone at the hook or was your line breaking....just wondering I had the problem of losing fish and some small changes to my set up was huge....if your line is breaking try using fluorocarbon seagaurd trust me it makes a big difference in quality and strength...it's costy but well worth your buck....if it's at the hook you may get better hook sets with the fluorocarbon leader which has very little stretch also braided line for your mainline has little stretch....the problem I had before was that I was using all mono filament mainline and leader and with the tension of the bobber when trying to set the hook I just didn't have enough force to drive that hook into the bony part of the upper mouth which 80 percent of your hook ups will be
hope this helps
