Took a couple of hours in the late morning to go look at the Snoqualmie. Stopped by Tokul hole just after 10am and it was a zoo. The wind was also blasting down the river, which helped make up my mind for me. I watched for about 10 minutes and it looked like there wasn't a lot of action going on, so I headed down to Fall City to fish under the bridge. A few guys down there, but not crowded and the wind was considerably calmer. Water was not running too high and good clarity. Drowed a few jigs in various shades of pink/? without any luck and finally threw out a pink worm towards the end just to see what would happen. Nada. There were a couple guys plunking, a couple of drift fishers, a couple of guys with spoons/spinners, and one guy with a bait diver on a side planer setup. Figured we had the tackle covered, but didn't see anything caught besides a small trout to the spinner guy. Packed it up just after noon. Nice to be on the water anyhow. Maybe next time I'll have more than two hours to spend.
