Started off at the Fortsen hole on the mill pond side before first light, light up some glow jigs under a float. Second drift and my buddy hooks up! nice 7 pound hatch fish. daylight came and so did the crowds of people and i dont like fighting for fish so we headed down river to our honey hole above oso. First float through the run with a light pink jig and the float sinks, beautiful Native steel, prob in the 8-9 pound range.
we switched it up a bit and started bouncing uncured eggs under a float, caught 3 dollies, a MONSTER cutthroat, and a couple suckers. and a smaller native steel almost gray in color he was so bright. Switched back to the pink worm and BAM BAM BAM, 4 fish within an hr of each other, 3 natives and one hatch. ALL FISH CAUGHT WERE NOT REMOVED FROM THE WATER! awesome day with a little color in the water, flows were still down though!
