Well, it could have been better but someone got to this small lake before I did. In the day I caught four bass from 3 to 4 pounds. The thing is the boat ahead of me had three fishermen each kept their limit of bass, or what they thought was the limit. They must have pulled 20 bass out of the lake and kept all of them from 2 to 6 or 7 pounds and they weren't even DOD employees ( this is a DOD only lake). Now this is a really small lake so fishing it out seems to be a very easy feat, and since all these bass are on the bed, they must have fished it out for years to come. I don't see anything wrong with keeping fish, but not during spawn and certainly not every fish you catch. Well, at least I know there are a few more left, but I have been fishing this lake for years and I know not a lot of big ones are in here, now for sure there aren't. Catch and release!!!
