This report is for 2 days. I did not get to the 115th street area on the Puyallup River until 8am the first day and 7am the second day. Saturday, FishingRob and his friend Jer were there already (pre-daylight) with already fish on. I do not remember the statistics but it was the best days for hooking chums on the Puyallup, for me and we caught whitefish, too. The weather was below freezing on the 17th but drizzle and rain on the 18th. On Saturday I stayed until 12:30 then I went up the hill to a jig tying class at Sportsman Warehouse. Sunday I was there until 12. Sunday, friends Glen and Cami came down. Glen found a nice little (20.75 inches) Coho to grace my table for dinner. I used all different corky colors and yarn. The river was clear and flowing at about 700cfi on Saturday and with the rain (drizzle) it had gone up to 750cfi for Sunday.

Procaster the class was interesting. There was a silver caught earlier in the day so I think it might have been the male.

have you tried your luck up higher then 115th. i went golfing today at high cedars golf course on 149th and there seemed to be a few good looking drifts threw there. i didnt see anyone out there and just thought it looked good and kinda wonder why there isnt anyone up there.

Scarlin one can't keep any salmon up there and it is selective gear only. I don't know how many salmon might go up there. You can keep 2 hatchery steelhead but I don't what the shape that run might be in.

Hey Toni, when do you think the run will be over? I'm going to be in the Seattle area on the 27th, you think they'll still be there? I'm just going to catch and release.
